No
matter where the Emperor’s light falls, groups of juves will join
together in their love of going fast and annoying their elders. The
most common are ones that ride boards with wheels. These are found in
all hives, most other significantly advanced imperial words and some of
the large space craft. On other world such as the desert planet of
Logan there are sand borders who ride down the dunes their boards
created from bones of the Snicktar beast. On ice worlds it is not
uncommon to see juves riding down the sides of hills and mountains on
boards made from whatever is at hand.
I bought Dark Heresy, and I think it's awesome. So now I'm trying to stoke my head for all kinds of ideas and things,
and figure out what sort of approach I want to take. I've thought about
just keeping it relatively episodic, one mission at a time, with maybe
some hints and clues dropped in the course of it toward a larger
conspiracy. I also thought of going for a kind of sandbox approach,
setting up said conspiracy in ludicrous detail, so that the PCs can
just sorta be dropped in the right spot, given a gentle nudge, and
leaving the rest of the investigation up to them.

My characters have been inducted into Inquisition late in the campaign.
I have devised this Elite Advance as a means of filling some holes in
their character background and introducing them to a new level of
access and responsibility.
The Ghostclaw Fraternity is a rather new organization when compared to
the other assassin guilds in the Calixis Sector. Nevertheless, it has
managed to rise quickly to it's current station as one of the major
players in the business of death. For the most part, this is thanks to
the Fraternity's unique history of nascency, for it has not risen out
of nothingness, but rather formed as an alliance of several smaller
guilds which banded together in an effort to fend off their imminent
destruction at the hands of a rival they could not defeat alone. This
Assassin's War, which lasted several centuries, went by largely
unnoticed by the general populace and Imperial authorities. Of course
the Inquisition as well as the Lord Sector's office were informed, but
as this conflict was limited to just a handful of assassin guilds, it
had been decided to ignore the matter rather than to spend resources on
a useless suppression of existing rivalries.
The signature weapon of Calixis' secretive Ghostclaw Fraternity, this
slightly curved, sleek sword is manufactured using only highest quality
adamantite alloys, and unconfirmed though persistant rumors state they
are actually forged on the Lathes during one of the rare gravitational
overlap periods.
Wherever
humanity congregates in large cities, sewers and drainage systems are
likely to be built and, with time, the refuse of mankind is likely to
find life-forms that fester within it. More likely than not, these
creatures are often carriers of disease and if left unchecked they can
lay waste to entire populations. This is a threat found not only found
within worlds, but also in star-ships and stations, which can pick up
all sort of undesirable pests from travellers.
