No matter where the Emperor’s light falls, groups of juves will join together in their love of going fast and annoying their elders. The most common are ones that ride boards with wheels.  These are found in all hives, most other significantly advanced imperial words and some of the large space craft.  On other world such as the desert planet of Logan there are sand borders who ride down the dunes their boards created from bones of the Snicktar beast.  On ice worlds it is not uncommon to see juves riding down the sides of hills and mountains on boards made from whatever is at hand.

Most citizens find thrashers annoying but totally forgettable.  They are part of the background noise of life.  This along with their speed can bring them to the attention of both the underworld and a senior acolytes as couriers.  The picking of low level couriers is not of interest of an inquisitor.

Thrasher /Skunck

Home world:  any
Class: Scum
Exp: 200

Effects
Characteristics:  Increase Agility +5
Talent: Unremarkable,
Skills: Thrash

Change characters age to 12 + 1d5

Thrash skill:  Agility, Advanced

While on their board or using skates and if moving the turn before,  all movement is reduced by one type, a ½ move action becomes a free action.  A full move / run action is counted as a ½ action.  Only pistols may be used while riding.  This does not require a test.  Doing tricks while riding like sliding down rails also does not take a skill test as it is common usage.

As a full action the character can move at high speed downhill, 2x normal charge speed.  In the case of a failure the character stops.  A failure by more than 2 degrees causes the character to come off his board becoming stunned and taking  a level of fatigue for each level of failure of over  1.

Please comment on this background package.  I got the idea from the Skateboarders miniatures at Copplestone Castings.
