I love the old critters that appeared in Rogue Trader (and sometimes
after in it in Chapter Approved), so I'm translating some of them to DH
ruleset. The Catachan Devil is probably the most famous of all of them,
and for years the most feared.
Orks are good "interlude" characters. Just pop up an ork
raid BAM!, you got some instant mindless action. Or as good background,
having clues lead you back to a world under invasion from orks, finding
out the warboss has taken the daemon sword you master wants you to
retrieve aboard his space hulk, i think there would be plenty of
opportunities to pop a couple o' greenskins into the mix.
The Jokaero resemble in physical form the orangutans which once roamed ancient
Terra. They are heavy-set, ape-like creatures who are generally slightly more
massive than a human and with slightly greater strength.
This heretical piece of
xenos technology resembles a small metal hoop when inactive. They are typical
bonded to a wearer or set for time delay activation.
Specimen arrived in a damaged state due to trauma upon capture [caused
by the late Adept Brhos’ augmetic hand] escorted by Lord Soltemere and
his null hound. Specimen was diminutive in size, no longer than 20
centimetres (may reach 30 cm standing erect).
My Lord, further to your inquiry into the matter of the Riebelin
Conclave Incident, I have attached the following documents penned by
the great Magos Genetor Gregor Vendel following his exploratory
vivisection of the xenos in question.
